The British manufacturer is back on top.
The Norton Motorcycles brand gained a solid foundation for development when the Indian company TVS became the owner. The British firm is expanding production capacity and accepting pre-orders. Premieres of new motorcycles are planned in the near future. TVS also decided to move Norton’s facilities to a new manufacturing facility in Solihull, near Birmingham.
New factory with an area of 7000 sq. meters modern and large enough to meet all Norton plans. The production area was equipped with all the necessary modern equipment to produce up to 8,000 motorcycles per year. According to CEO John Russell, the new factory is vastly superior to the old facility at Donington Hall. Modern equipment, first-class working conditions, good location.

“We have over 110 people. We now have opportunities that were not there before. TVS has ambitious plans for the Norton brand. They want to make him what he should always be. This can only be achieved in this way by investing. “ Russell said.
The new facility was opened in March 2021. The launch of the new Commando 961 is a top priority.
