Motorcycle wheel master Roberto Marchesini is dead / Moto news / BikePost
Roberto Marchesini lived with family, friends and high quality magnesium wheels.
Motorcycle wheels must have two properties for high performance: strength and lightness. Italian wheel master Marchesini has earned himself a reputation for making cool wheels. Unfortunately, the founder of the company of the same name, Roberto Marchesini, died on September 30, 2020 after a long struggle with the disease.
Bolognese inventor Roberto Marchesini loved his job. He shared his passion with the world and helped develop motorsport to its current level. Despite his age, Roberto was active on social networks, always answering questions and giving an expert assessment, if required. They say that Roberto was always open to dialogue.

Marchesini started out as a designer at Campagnolo before founding his own magnesium and aluminum casting company. Roberto then applied the knowledge he had learned at Campagnolo in the right direction and began to design and manufacture high quality motorcycle wheels.
Roberto Marchesini was a very passionate man. He could test his products all night to give Max Biaggi, for example, the best kit. By the way, the Marchesini brand has been owned by Brembo since 2000.

Our condolences to family, friends and fans of Marchesini.
