Suzuki has released a factory collection of specialty Suzuki GSX-R1000R superbikes inspired by the MotoGP bikes of yesteryear. A total of six colors are offered!
The first motorcycle is dedicated to British rider Barry Sheen and his Suzuki RG500. Barry won titles in 1976-1977.
Marco Luccinelli joined Suzuki briefly in 1976, and in 1978 became a full-time pilot of the factory team in the premier class. In 1981, the Italian achieved success and won the World Championship.

The next bike is dedicated to Franco Uncini, who had an impressive season with the team, winning 5 races during the season and scoring 27 points more than his nearest rival.

Kevin Schwantz was the next Suzuki champion. The American won the title in 1993.

In 2000, Kenny Roberts Jr defeated everyone, including young Rossi. Since then Suzuki forgot about titles for 20 years!

Last season, Juan Mir interrupted the dry streak and won the MotoGP 2020 championship cut due to coronavirus.

All special Legends Editions come in stock with Akrapovic mufflers and are only available at European dealerships.
